Discover Scuba Diving Experience
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to breathe underwater?
If you have never been diving before and would like to give scuba diving a try, PADI Discover Scuba Diving is a great way to go. This 3-hour lesson allows you to experience the thrill of scuba diving without committing to a course.
An Ocean 'Discover Scuba Diving Experience' takes three hours and opens the door for you to explore the other two-thirds of our planet. You don't need any previous diving experience and your instructor will be right next to you the whole time, making sure you feel safe and have a great time discovering what scuba diving is all about.
This is definitely a unique experience, with all theory and briefings done overlooking the Bay in our unique dive shack. Once in the water, everything will be done at your own pace with a focus on learning in a safe fun-filled environment. After our dive, you can sit back and relax with a drink and some food overlooking the bay in the award-winning Roberts Cove Inn.

Who can take the the Course?
Anyone above the age of 10. Please review the PADI Discover Scuba Diving medical questionnaire before attending.
How much will it cost?
Discover Scuba Diving sessions cost €89 for adults and €75 for under 18's. You can buy a voucher using the links below, then contact to arrange a suitable time & date.
How long will the experience take?
Ocean Discover Scuba Diving experiences (DSD's) will take approximately 3 hours. Your DSD experience will start with a short film followed by an introduction to the gear and safety briefing. Once in the water, you will practice some basic Scuba skills in the shallows followed by a fun & relaxed exploration dive.

What is included?
All dive equipment & wetsuits are supplied so all you need to bring is your togs and towel. All safety equipment and insurance are provided, with instruction from an experienced qualified PADI Instructor.
