One Day First Aid & Scuba Diving Camp
Whether your a parent looking to inspire your teen or are a young person looking to dive into a new world, then taking part in one of our Teen workshops is a must!
Our teen workshops give young people the unique opportunity to put theory into practice, by learning about the marine world , then diving in to experience it for themselves. Not only this, participants will also learn life saving skills such as CPR and gain the knowledge/skills to respond to a range of different scenarios.
Our teen workshops include the following:
A 'hands-on' introduction to first aid, with participants learning how to deal with a range of minor and major incidents that may require immediate action. They will learn to;
Respond to a cardiac arrest (using training manikins & defibrillator demonstration)
Respond to a drowning event
Deal with a range of other scenarios including choking, stokes, heart attacks etc.
A PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience to give participants a real taste of diving, consists of:
A short diving video to get teens 'thinking like a diver'
A talk to introduce participants to the dive equipment we will be using, safety procedures and other important aspects of scuba diving
Once geared up it will be time to put the theory into practice and practice some basic scuba skills in the shallows
Finally, it will be time for them to embark on their first ever dive , where they can put their newly acquired skills into practice and explore the bay with their instructor
Fun and games on the beach!
