Our Marine Camp will give your budding marine adventurer the chance to discover their inner Jacques Cousteau and learn some incredibly important life skills. We will embark on an action-packed 3-days in the stunning surrounds of Roberts Cove, Co.Cork. Camps run from Wednesday to Friday.
Let's go explore
We will be searching beneath the surface with a full snorkelling lesson and wildlife tour around the Bay. This is a great opportunity for participants to learn the basics of snorkelling whilst also observing some of the marine plants and animals who call this part of Southern Ireland home. There will also be the opportunity to explore Roberts Cove's unique sea caves.
. . . And learn what to do in an emergency
At Oceans of Discovery, we also feel very strongly that First Aid & Water Safety awareness should be taught to all young people. With this in mind, the children will learn about important aspects of water safety including; Rip currents, tides, how to respond in an emergency and important 'do's & don'ts' when by the sea. The children will also learn how to distinguish and respond to a cardiac arrest and administer CPR if necessary.
. . . All while having fun!!!
There will be plenty of time for fun and games both in and out of the water. From paddle-boarding to rounders and everything in-between!
